Spring Snow

It happens every year, in fact, usually more than once. Well on April 2nd, 2011, the snow began to fall and fall and fall, until the accumulated snowfall was reported to be the largest of our winter season over a 24-hour period. The storm left us with 30cm.(1 foot) on top of our already still-snowy city! I am always amazed by the big dump of snow that happens again and again whilst Spring is trying so hard to 'arrive'.

There is however, a bonus after the storm is over ... a magical, fresh and clean landscape all about us. Here I am posting a few photos I took while in our back garden and over the fence for a bit into Fish Creek Provincial Park.
