This obviously looks like beggar marketing! No, no matter how uncomfortable his situation is, he can find a better place to stay, where he could be snuggled!
While most of adult would turn the head, the kid has a pure straight gaze, feeling the "difference", but not judging it - or maybe having nothing to loose! A very eloquent image!
