wong tai sin hong kong

bow. kneel. pray

" I love you when you bow in your mosque, kneel in your temple, pray in your church.
For you and I are sons of one religion, and it is the spirit.
And today we kneel only to truth, follow only beauty, and obey only love. "

A sobering image to remind us of the existence of divine power.....so we bow, kneel and pray.

I like this one a lot. I love taking pictures of people's feet, because feet are always honest and speak a lot. And these feet here speaking a lot as well. Big V

Nike the angle - ooops, Like. Nike point of view - ooops, Nice.
More seriously, excellent composition and crop. I believe that religion should be an individual thing - "my own private belief " - and I tend to be very sceptical regarding the effect of "group" religion that hasn't shown to make much good in the world lately.
Thanks for this stimulating image, Ai Li!

Again I adore your ability to create this caption/image context works. Every day the time to stop for some minutes...to think about the things, which are really important.
Thanks again for this daily gift Ai Li!

Ah yes...nothing wrong with kneeling in a pair of Nikes or Reebocks, afterall...even materialism and consumerism can be a religion ;-))K

Interesting angle. Like the chess players photograph we don't see much of the people but we know what they are doing. I like the fact it's suggestive in that respect. I think you should you hold an exhibition of these photos!
