Polar bears are possibly the most threatened animals on earth by global warming. I had the privilege of spending four days on the tundra near Churchill, Manitoba with these magnificent and elegant beings. It was an experience that changed me forever. We were parenthesized by the brilliant colors of Autumn and the white-on-white of full winter, but the subtle late Fall beauty of the northern landscape was a worthy setting for the sublime view of the bears.
