Met Éireann ( the local Weather Forecast Agency) have recorded temperatures in Ireland from 19 C to 25 C nationwide.
This is unusually good weather for Ireland and people are flocking to the beaches.
The New Zealand forecaster Ken Ring has predicted that Ireland is due for a summer scorcher in 2013.
The long-range forecaster predicts weather conditions worldwide using the moon and tidal activity.
He is saying that the heatwave in Ireland in July and August will be much like the Mediterranean temperatures of 1995 in Ireland.
In July and August, temperatures are expected to reach 30°C and a balmy September will follow.
