The first thin we want to clear out: these European WiB Conferences are NOT intended to replace the International (global) WiB Conferences.
On the contrary: we call for all European WiB groups to sent at least one woman of the own group to the international WiB Conference next year in Bangalore.

As funding is an always returning problem, we ask every group to support the organizing group of the international conferences. Sue will contact Bangalore WiB about funding organisations.
But we also do a call for every group to do something themselves. For instance: the WiB group of Leuven organizes every year a spagetti event, sometimes also another pancake event, to collect funds so one woman of our group can go to the international Conference AND to support one other person who need funds to attend.

Sue will contact WiB Bangalore to tell them we fully support their initiative to organise the next International WiB conference. And we will call that as much as possible European (and for course worldwide) WiB's will be present.
