Self Care Practices and Community Wellbeing:
Paying attentin to ourselves and our experiences through activism requires us to listen to our bodies. We will use breath, touch and movement to learn a few simple body-mind practices to help us cope with stress, burn out or vicarious trauma. We can use these practices also in our work with women form disenfranchised communities. By creating Feminist Ethics of Care – we commit ourselves to responsibility for the emotional wellbeing and health of women activists.

We practiced a variety of capacitar self – help techniques to support our inner balance and well – being and to assist us in coping with stress, anxiety and trauma.
As part of our vision of incorporations Feminist ethics of care in our lives and organizational culture, these are simple body – mind / spirit exercises of self-care that contributes to our own health and to the community well-being.
Women can do these exercises on their own or even during meetings.
