Focus op stellingmolen hostensmolen in Ruiselede

This brick towermill dates back to 1865. Before it was a wooden post mill. Before 1880 the mill was raised. The mill was 2 times hit by lightning and in 1944 with the liberation, the mill was hit by 2 grenades.In 1961 the mill was stopped because of economic reasons. In 1997 the mill was bought by the towncouncil and restored. In 2001 the mill was reopened and is working again on weekends. A visit is always possible and highly recommended. Take a look in this beautiful mill.
