Mrs Stylebook Skirt

Skirt from Mrs Stylebook (Japanese pattern magazine.) The pattern was drafted with the help of the Sewing World Draft Along thread. I used a sueded pink silk duppioni which was a gift. Thanks, Pam! This was a very quick skirt, and fun to do. Finished 3-30-05.

Love this skirt and top. Wish I had your long legs! Here in the UK we do not have your "Mrs Stylebrook"-if only. Valerie

No, but it's not new. I made it years ago, and just never wear white much, so it looks pretty new. The skirt is a washed silk duppioni, and the top is a cotton with a flocked cut-out design.
Thanks, Betty & Romy! Liana

Wow, Liana, this is beautiful, very, very beautiful. And usually I don't like pink but this style (skirt and top) is something I really like. What is the fabric for both?

Liana, I love this skirt... color, fit, everything about it... also your top and shoes. What a fun top. Have I seen it before? BettyM
