Compare Digiscoped image with DSLR image

This is to compare a digiscoped image with a DLSR image and get a feel for how a DSLR with a larger lens would compare in terms of magnification. The digiscoped image is 60X. The DSLR is at 320mm (200mm lens and 1.7TC) or about 9.6 X. There are two cropped versions of the DSLR image emulating 19X and 38X if taken with longer Focal Length lens.
The DSLR is a Nikon D70 with the 70-200VR telephoto lens. The scope is a Zeiss 80HD Diascope.

You don't mention what kind of camera, lense, scope or anything used. Your DSLR obviously lost a lot of light but your scope lost even more even though it got the closer shot. a Canon EF 700mm-800mm lense on a Canon EOS 30D will work better than a Pentax with a like brand lense. On the other side, a Swarovski HD80 scope will work much better than a Leupold Sequoia. so there is no comparison unless your equipment is approximately equivalent. You also don't tell us what the conditions were for each shot. when comparing, conditions have to be the same.
