The weather was warmer than predicted. It was 35 degrees and windy. It was much warmer than the previous day though. The temperature pretty much stayed steady but the wind picked up as the day went on. The barometric pressure was rising and the wind was from the West shifting to the North.

We headed south down toward the creek. Then we turned Northeast and let the hounds work along the creek. We continued North East and soon the hounds started speaking. We then continued almost to the edge of the property. The hounds had turned and were going South. We followed and went all the way, almost to Z along the first driveway entrance. From here it sounded like the hounds turned again so we headed back down to the creek. The wind was strong and not coming from a good direction to hear the hounds. We then headed west and headed up to the hog farm. We stopped at the edge of the cow pasture. We saw a few hounds here and Eleanor came up behind us. She went into the cow pasture for a while and then came back out. We heard the hounds speaking and headed back to the Northwest. We came back almost to where the run started and the hounds were quiet. It was a fine day considering how windy it was.

Eleanor gathered the hounds up and we brought them in. We were all looking forward to the soup and salad that Geri and Mary had made. It was very good and we got to meet a few of the local landowners and farmers in the area.
