What a great surpise to look out at 5:50 a.m. and see the pair of mallards that spent 4 months with us in 2006. Not being quite sure if it was them we followed the regular routine, set out the duck food, ate on the patio; they fell right into the ritual they had established a year ago...yes it is the same pair...even if they don't spend their Spring vacation with us, March 10, 2007 goes down as the day the Ducks returned....
