"U" - Unseasonable and Unique for Autumn

This picture was taken 9/29/06. With only one flower a year, this 20 year old cactus normally flowers in June; this year there were six flowers and all in September.

gorgeous...my uncle has cacti that bloom like this - one is pink and one is white...they are night blooming...last time they bloomed I was there and so I photographed them...my efforts weren't quite so successful...
