"I" Inspired, Imitation? You decide...

"Inspired" by Mary Bell's "Ubiquitous Dandelion" http://www.pbase.com/marybell/the_ubiquitous_dandelion I decided to try and emulate her style...she really opened my eyes to seeing in black and white in the everyday "images" that are right in front of us...I hope to do many more as I have just dicovered my own personal supply of "weeds"...

You'll have me looking out for dandelions now. Lovely shot. I love the way the stem sweeps down to the base. It reminds me of the shape of a vase.

Yes, Mary is 'almost' famous for her vision of zooming in on things everyday that the likes of myself just don't notice - yet when faced with her finished works, I think.....of course, I could have tried that - minutes later I forget until her next example!
Here you clearly have your very own stamp on this lovely image Leslie, I'd say inspired rather then imitate.
