An excellent upright pose, as though he has just sighted you .... great colour too. I always think these birds are much bigger, but I can see from comparison with the size of the seeds, that he is quite small ..... very nice shot.
Of the two single bird portraits, this one gets my preference.
I like how the bird is holding perfectly upright here. It gives him an attitude! :)
Lovely background colours, and neat graphic pattern on the bird.
