all done in photoshop cs .myltiplay layers ,gausian blur and darken image after you increase contrast .

I have found this flower so difficult for me to photograph that I gave up but after seeing this, I am going to go back and see if I can make something of my prior efforts. Your composition is inspiring. The brightness of the colors is super.
