Rakaposhi, also known as "The Mother of Mist", is a mountain in the Karakoram range in Pakistan known for its dramatic vertical relief, particularly its steep descent from summit to base. It's often cited as the only peak on Earth with a continuous descent from summit to base, rising 6,000 meters (almost 20,000 feet) above the Hunza Valley. With an elevation of 7,788 meters (25,551 feet)
