Windy and cold at 16500 feet ,but incredible mountain views all around (We left Cusco for this trek , Rainbow Mountain at 3:30am )When we did summit Vinicunca, however, the breathtaking views easily allowed us to forget about the 4 -hour struggle we had left behind.
