Reynisfjara beach

one of the most popular tourist destinations in Iceland. But it is also one of the most dangerous: The waves are not only beautiful, but also unpredictable. In the past years travellers have repeatedly narrowly escaped being swept to sea after having been knocked over by incoming waves, or losing their footing in the shifting sand and then pulled out by the powerful undercurrent
