Built in 1849 by Portugess authorities, was the boarder gate between the Macau Peninsula and Guangdong province (Zhuhai city) of China Mainland. There used to be a old Chinese boader gate originally constructed by Chinese authorities in 1574.
Modern building behind the old boarder gate is the official border building nowadays.
