In the last years many cattle farms was converted to a game farm and tourist destination. A game farm will have been especially stocked with wild game as elephants, rhinos, the carnivorous cats and the antilopes on which they feed. Here the emphasis will be on game viewing drives and possibly guided hikes in the bush.
Durstenbrook Guest Farm is one of the oldest of this kind. It has many animals and a rich bird life, but the opportunity to experience leopard and cheetah is its main attraction.
There are daily viewings and feedings of this wonderful cats and here you are sure to see leopard and cheetah. We saw them and took close photos, but emotions and adrenalin were not like we met these beautiful animals in really free conditions.
