"Metalmark" Moth

This specimen is thought to be the only wild (in situ) specimen
to be found on the net or literature specific to Hawaii or even perhaps,
anywhere in the world. It is being investigated by Hawaiian wildlife specialists
taxonomists with the Hawaiian Department of Agriculture and a specialist at the
Smithsonian Institution.
