Hi Bradley:

Thanks for your interest. I was very lucky to get this shot. I was out very early in the morning while the dew was still on the grass and vegetation. The droplets of dew on the spider web were very small and by use of my strobe, the reflected light off the droplets perfectly outlined the spider web. I captured this shot with my Nikon coolpix 8700. You can feel free to use this photo as well as my other spider web photos in my spider gallery athttp://www.pbase.com/lejun/spiders All that I would ask is the you provide me with a credit.

Thanks again for your interest and good luck!

I'm doing a science project that requires me to take detailed pictures of spiders webs. Howver the best picture I have taken just barely shows that there is a web in the picture at all. Can any one tell me how this picture was made to show such detail. I was using a digital point and shoot camera but that wasnt helping. Then when i switched to my regular SLR I couldnt focus it to where i could see the web in the photo. How was this done????
