This 1st year male Vermillion Flycatcher paused for a split second right in front of me as I was photographing another bird.
Transitioning to full adult male breeding plumage.
Perhaps the same bird as in previous photos.
The Vermillion Flycatcher is listed as only an occasional winter visitor to the St. Marks, NWR
and from Audubon maps, is somewhat out of his range.
