Genus Dolomedes

These spider are predominantly semi-aquatic and hunt by waiting at the water's edge to detect ther prey.
They are covered by short, unwettable (hydrophobic) hairs which allows them to use surface tension to stand or run on water.
They can also go beneath the water.
