Bald Eagle Release

This focus of this gallery is the release of a Bald Eagle by the Southeastern Raptor Center at Auburn University 5/11/13.
The bird was released at the E.W. Shell Fisheries Center in Auburn.
The adult bird was found nearly a year ago in one of the Fisheries' ponds.
It was released near the location where it was found.
The Raptor Center was in generally good health except for supressed or poor endurance.
The eagle recuperated very well, however, and was in very good health at the time of the release.
