Dragonflies

Order: Odonata, Suborder: Epiprocta

Dragonflies have hindwings that are broader than the forewing. They have large multifaceted eyes, two pairs of strong transparent wings and elongated bodies.

Dragonflies are differentiated from damselflies in that the wings of most dragonflies are held away from, and perpendicular to, the body when at rest.
