We visited the Eiffel Tower over a three day period: once at night, during our daily walks, and finally to ascend the tower. We were lucky to have a sunny day during our final visit. We waited an hour to get to the second level observation deck, but it was well worth the time. I can’t imagine wait times during peak season. The two busiest tourist places in Paris are the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower.

There are elevators at three of the main supports.
It's 600 steps to level two. We decide on the elevator.
At least the line moved relatively quick, about an hour wait.
