Musée du Louvre & Jardin des Tuileries

The Louvre is HUGE. Our trip through it took 8 hours (and we even skipped a few small areas, plus two areas were closed off). But there is a ton to see there. Lots of paintings to see, but many of them fell into one of 3 categories: fat naked women, fat naked babies, and decapitated men. Beautiful arcitecture and ornate ceilings were also abundant.

Outside the Louvre is a large garden (Jardin des Tuileries). Like all parks in Paris, you can find many people hanging out. In the center of the park is a water fountain. It's a good place to grab a seat and relax (just don't sit downwind of the fountain like we did).
