There are countless Chinas. It is refreshing to be aware that one’s interpretations of this vast and elusive country will always change according to the angle of one’s vision and the flash of time one is observing.
I chose to travel across China from west to east and north to south to give me a greater sense of its vastness. That it has done. Now I've had the privilege of travelling across three of the largest countries in the world (see the Oh Canada! and Trans-Mongolian-Siberian Railway galleries).
I hope you'll enjoy viewing the images from the furthest westernmost point of China (Kashgar in Xinjiang province) to the furthest east (Shanghai and environs) to the furthest south (Hong Kong). I hope you'll enjoy these as much as I did taking them and travelling throughout this vast country.
