Our Lodging

We wanted to see as many national and provincial (state) parks as possible on this vacation, and many were clustered close together but took hours to drive thru one to get to another. So I planned our lodging into 5 different areas, staying 1-4 nights in each, and all were privately owned vacation rentals. In all but 1, the owners lived on one floor and we occupied a walk-out basement apt. The other 1 was a building with 2 separate floors; each it's own apt with private entrance, while the owners lived in their own house elsewhere on the property. We stayed a total of 11 nights for less than $900, which is cheaper than hotel rooms with WAY more floor space to us, giving me the ability to close off the bedroom door while Dave stayed up to watch TV later and I could go to sleep earlier without the TV noise at the foot of our bed (if in a hotel). These sub-galleries are in the order that we stayed in them.
