We got hit by a brief heavy rain storm that day. In all, we got hit about 3-4 times with hard rain, but always when we were either in our vehicle or a building. Never did it "rain on our parade" when we wanted to be outside doing something. There were brief thunderstorms about 7 out of the 10 days we were gone so I counted us VERY lucky that they didn't interfere with any of our outdoor activities.
