Alex sitting and talking with Coach and Megan's brother, Jonathon. Alex and I had just arrived at the all-day tournament, coming from his power lifting meet that he'd been at most of the day. Our next soccer game wasn't starting for another 5-10 minutes. We ended up taking 3rd place in the all-day tournament, playing 5 total games, of which the last 3 were back-to-back and the last one ended in in tie so a "shoot-out" had to take place and we won that, 4-3. The boys were at this field from 9:00 a.m. till 9:00 p.m., with only a break for fast-food lunch mid-day. Also, most of the schools represented there were 4A and 5A schools, compared to Taylor's 3A school AND having its first soccer team just finishing its first season.
