Our hotel's parking lot backed up to the Lower Pigeon Forge River. This was the view from the balcony just outside our room. Our room was very quiet and peaceful, facing a gentle river instead of the noisy, hyper street out in front. We stayed at the Econo Lodge in Pigeon Forge and it was really nice - great deluxe cont'l breakfast, nice indoor pool, laundry facility, arcade room and just pretty all around.
