The last photo of the orange tabby right after another bath for trying to rid it of it's flea infestation. The kitten died 24 hours after this photo and looked unbelievably even worse then. They couldn't even stand or walk their last 2-3 days of life and handfeeding by eyedropper wasn't received well either. To me when wet they now resembled an alien or gremlin instead of the fluffy cute kittens they were just a week before that ran up the sidewalk to meet you when you arrived home. Their bodies were merely bones covered by skin.
