Another picture showing the milo (with corn in the background). I love the changing view as I pass by the rows with the different color hues of the crops as they mature. Add to that the unusual patterns the crops are planted in and it all makes for an enjoyable country drive. I would think it easier for the farmers to plant in square or rectangle-shaped fields but they don't seem to do that around here much. Many times they zig and zag the direction of the rows, planting 2 crops in the same field. This photo shows a perfect example of their "zigging and zagging".
