Dave has always wanted to go thru the Admiral Nimitz Museum in downtown Fredericksburg, but we had heard that you should allow a minimum of a 1/2-day to go through it, and in the past we've only been in Fredericksburg for a day-trip. This time I planned for us (mainly him) to go thru it, and we did. I opted to go thru just 1 of the 3 buildings and saw very little of the outdoor Memorial Park; Dave saw the first building (with me), spent twice as long in the outdoor Memorial Park and then saw about 1/3 of the largest of the 3 buildings before saying his back and feet weren't up for any more. We plan to go back to Fredericksburg and see the museum over a 2-day window (when you buy your ticket, it's good for 48 hours).
