Front yard showing the results of my continuous landscaping projects to replace the new-home turf with environmentally-friendly plantings and hardscapes. By July lavenders, daisies, mint, and a blend of yellow, blue, and orange flowers will overflow the center garden. Hummingbirds, finches, stellar jays, etc. attracted to feeders in the Japanese maple and other areas keep me entertained all year.
Sadly, this also shows the last two winters of damage to my Japanese maple, one of the first trees I planted after I moved in 8 years ago.
