I was 8.5 mos pregnant with our middle child here, but ended up delivering him 11 days late (at 10.5 pounds!) I wanted to add that I was a Chief during all three of my pregnancies, and anytime I was out on base in uniform, I almost always automatically got saluted (officer's get saluted, not enlisted). The reason? Chiefs and officers both wear the same uniform except for our collar & hat devices, but most sailors (assumed) that Chiefs are too old to still be child-bearing age, so they would just automatically salute a pregnant female in khakis! Too funny!
