100_2977.jpgJust the "original 5 Bogan's" |
100_1102.jpgOur most current photo of the "5 Main Bogan's", taken the day that Jennifer, her husband and children were leaving our city to move to Kansas. Our church's choir had just done a patriotic cantata for July 4th. 4 of the 5 of us (all wearing white tops) are in the choir. I'm going to miss hearing Jennifer's voice and her standing next to me in choir. |
100_1099.jpgThe 5 Main Bogan's plus Jennifer's husband and 2 children. Gracie was 2-3/4 yrs old and Ryan was 9 months old. |

100_1093.jpgJust Jennifer and her family. |
100_1092.jpg |
100_1090.jpgAlex & Chris with Ryan between his uncles. Our two sons are 18 months apart in age, (but not in height.) |
100_1091.jpg |
100_1089.jpg |
100_1088.jpgPart of our choir. I'm just to the left of our director's red sleeve, Alex's head is barely visible behind my face, the top of Dave's grey hair is seen above our diretor's hand and Jennifer was unfortunately completely blocked by our director. |
IMG_0121A.jpgOkay, this one has more than "5 Main Bogans" but there was a good reason for it. At any rate, it had at least the 5 Main Bogans. |
IM000014.jpgA photo that shows all 6 of us (Bogans) along with Lisa's 2nd cousin, Bob, who was visiting from San Francisco. |
Gracie19.jpg5 of the 6 of us. Gracie was 5-1/2 months. old |
6Bogan4.JPGTaken New Year's Eve, 2004. |
All 6 Bogans.jpgJennifer & Gracie's last few minutes before moving out in Dec '04. It was the first time we've had a photo of the 5 Main Bogans together in over 2-1/2 years. |
6 Bogans2.jpgSimilar one but have no idea of why the lighting changed. |
6 Bogans3.jpgAnd yet a third photo. |
Picture_0232.JPGJennifer, Alex and Chris, holding, Iris, Jerry and Rose (respectively). |
100_5793.JPGJennifer at 8-1/2 months pregnant with Ryan. This was taken one of the 4 times that she & Scott went to the hospital, thinking that it was "time", only to be sent home. |
Meyer Visit 006.JPGJennifer doing a bit of grass-cutting around our property one day. She looked so cute I couldn't resist snapping a photo of her! She was 22 yrs old here. |
100_4615.JPGJennifer, taking a break after having us over for dinner in her new apt. |
Picture_1501.JPGGreat shot of Jennifer at her brother's recent Little League All Star game. |
Picture_1500.JPGJennifer 7-1/2 months along. |
Picture_0362.JPGTrying to get Jennifer to have the same "natural smile" as when there's not a camera in front of her face is next to impossible. However, I made 2 attempts at doing so, neither showed her normal face's expression which is even more beautiful. |
Picture_0363.JPGShe was perturbed with her Mom who wouldn't leave her alone about getting her to smile "normal". I don't care, I still think she's beautiful, even without her normal everyday smile. |
Picture_0817.JPGJennifer started 11th grade. |

100_4369.JPGChris trying to get re-motivated to continue laying carpet with Dave. |
Picture_0839.JPGChris in the cheering section with Dave and I during Alex's game. Chris started 8th grade. |
Grandkids Weekend 226.jpgChris came to my office one afternoon, to interview a few of my actuary-type co-workers, trying to get an idea of what that field might be like to work in since math has always seemed pretty easy to him. He dressed up for the occasion and Dad and I treated him to lunch beforehand. |

100_5060.JPGAlex had a post-season baseball tournament in Georgetown, TX the same weekend that Chris had a post-season soccer tournament (also in Georgetown, TX). During the 3rd game, Alex was the starting pitcher (he usually plays catcher). These first 2 shots are of him warming up pitching. |

100_5078.JPGAlex back in the catcher's position. |

100_5081.JPGAlex at bat again. |
100_5013.JPGAbout an 8-lb. catfish that Alex caught when he went fishing with his friend, Chastain & Dad. This is the biggest fish that Alex has ever caught! |
100_5016.JPGAlex holding the 2 feet of his first wild turkey that he shot. He went on an overnight turkey hunting trip with his Outdoor Recreation Coach from school. His Coach took some great shots of Alex and the (whole) turkey but I haven't yet scanned them into my computer. It was a large bird, though. |
100_5018.JPGAlex holding 1 wing and the head while his Dad is holding the turkey breat meat in the plastic bag. |
100_5017.JPGCheck out the lower portion of his jeans...that's from him carrying the turkey while attached to a pole, across his shoulders as he climbed up the mountain-type terrain...the turkey was "bleeding out" as it was being hauled up to the ridge where they had parked. Boy I'm glad I don't do his laundry!!! |
100_4571.JPGA great shot of Alex (who was just a month shy of turning 14 years old). |
Picture_1506.JPGA GREAT shot of Alex - should have been his school picture. Taken during a recent Little League All Star Tournament he was in. |
Picture_0846.JPGHe's in 6th grade. |

IM000024.jpgAlex was baptized, to show a public display of his confession and belief in Jesus. This picture was taken while our pastor was asking him questions related to that decision. |
IM000025.jpgThis photo was taken when the two of them were looking out into the audience to see those family & friends stand that were there in support of Alex that day. |
IM000026.jpgAfter the questions came the "dunking". This photo was just as he came up out of the water. |
Picture_1543.JPGCurrent of what the two brothers look like. Alex is about to catch up to Chris' height. |
Picture_1545.JPG2 generations showing 2 sets of brothers. |
Picture_1540.JPGDave and Leroy at one of Alex's recent games. |

Picture_1489.JPGDad wearing his All Star Tournament gear. |
Picture_0993.JPGDave got out of his truck, turned around and heard "click"...no, he wasn't posing. |
Picture_1520.JPGOkay, a little strange so it HAD to go on pbase. Dave was out in the back yard, playing with his hose again. Actually, he was trying to un-coil a brand new "grey water line" to straighten it out. Took this shot thru the kitchen window because I thought it looked funny. |
Picture_1521.JPGToo bad I couldn't get the glare from the window from being in the photo. |
Picture_0985.JPGDave giving Angel some attention (this was rare so I had to capture it on film). |
Dave-Leroy.jpgDave and Leroy after a family wedding. |
Meyer Visit 007.JPGThis is one of my kid's FAVORITE pictures of me so I decided to take picture(s) of it and include in this gallery. It was "before kids", when I was about 28 years old and I'm 53 now. |

Lisa-05-17-2007.JPGThis is the most recent photo taken of me, as I enjoyed a wonderful meal with a great friend of ours from California. We've been gone almost 7 years so meeting her for dinner one evening while she happened to be in Texas was a treat for sore eyes for me! |
Lisa-PatStevens-05-17-2007.JPGA picture of the two of us. What a wonderful blessing it was to catch up, share and reminice together!!! |
Picture_1248.JPGThis is me at my desk at work, as the Receptionist for an actuarial consulting firm of about 50 employees in Austin, TX. |
Picture_1247.JPGAnother picture from behind to better show the size of my desk. It's a great work environment. You caught me on a Friday when I typically "dress down" a bit. |
IM000031.jpgA bit more recent (I was taking the photos so wasn't in them).
|
IM000035.jpgThis is the view I see when sitting behind my desk. Outside my office doors is a bank of 4 elevators; 2 on each side. |
