Whew, we made it back to the bridge that Dave had parked close to! I was about as whupped as you could be, definitely NOT used to such a prolonged exercise timeframe. My 30 minutes on the treadmill plus a brisk 30-minute walk at lunch most workdays didn't come close to preparing me for this type of hike!
