Several times the "trail" went to a higher elevation, to get around parts where the land was too steep adjacent to the river to just walk along the river's edge. This was such a place. I haven't "jogged" for manyyyy years, so doing so on this long hike was very new to me, not to mention having to watch my feet to ensure I didn't step in a hole or on a large rock.
