Our first evening there, we noticed some elk on top of that highest ridgeline during our dinner. A short while later, they were down on the road so I snapped this picture of them. Next they crossed our cabin's property, waited for all of them to get there, then crossed the river in one group, single-file. It was such a beautiful thing to witness for us!
