If you were driving up in the daylight, this would be the first view you have of the house. I took this picture while on the road heading down the mountain but looking up at the back deck. The road makes a sharp hair-pin curve and then goes past the driveway entrance, further up the mountain. We drove to the top of the mountain and it's only another 2-minute drive to get to the very top, but up there are about 8 houses that all are side-by-side or across the street from each other. I'd gladly give up that extra bit of elevation to have the full privacy our house offered!
