We didn't see any large rock formations along the entire trail until right here, which wasn't too far from the Falls. Again, the terrain style changed SO MUCH over a such a relatively short distance. This was where we ran in to 2 other hikers who were headed back down the trail as we were still headed up it. They warned us that we were "almost there" but that the last 5-10 minutes was the worst of it and was REALLY steep!. They weren't kidding either! It was really tough-going from this point on, but worth it.
