Gatlinburg, TN is just outside the main entrance to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park (GSMNP). The road follows along a beautiful river, with many pull-out places to park and walk along/(take pictures) of the river. Fast-moving water/(waterfalls) are my FAVORITE type of water to look at, which is unfortunate for Dave, because it meant I asked him to stop many times during our forays into the GSMNP.
