Another meet's pictures start, this one took place in Elgin, TX. Alex's power-lifting coach is working with another guy to "pull down" Alex's special top. These tops feel almost like the material used to make trampolines to me - extremely course, rugged and not very forgiving in stretching at all. They are designed to keep the person's arms in a lifted-up & forward position and are used when doing the BENCH position lift.
