While we were in our old neighborhood, we stopped by Alex's childhood friend's home. His Dad was outside and told us their family was on vacation at the beach in South San Diego (Chula Vista) and where they were. So that evening we headed there so Alex could meet his long-time friend, Dillon, who he hadn't seen in 10 years. Wow has Dillon grown!! He used to be the shortest of all the guys we knew as they were growing up and now he's taller than Alex, (who's taller than me)!
