These big "kites" are actually used to "kite-surf"!!! We'd never heard of such a thing before but watched in amazement. It's kind of like crossing parasailing with windsurfing, only using a kite instead of a sail, and a board that looks similar to a snowboard to stand on, and you stay fairly near the shore.
