We originally drove to Hyalite Canyon near Bozeman, MT, intending to drive up into the canyon and hike to the Palisades Falls. However, when we got there the main road was closed to vehicles at the canyon's entrance area. We didn't want to hike miles and miles up into a canyon just to get to the trail-head to then hike to the falls. So we took pictures around that lower canyon's entrance, then drove over to East Gallatin Park and went on a hike near that small lake.
